DS90UB926Q-Q1: LOCK failed with ds90ub921

Hi All,

We are using DS90UB926 with ds90ub921 device. setup as below,

Camera--> ds90ub921(18-bit) --> FTP link --> ds90ub926(18-bit) --> host processor

If both devices are connected with out any camera data, we could see lock LED on UB926 is ON.

But, the moment when we are giving the camera data with pclk of 80Mhz, lock LED blinks continuously  and we are not getting proper output from UB926 device.

Where could be the issue on ub921 or ub926? can someone help me to solve this.

    Hello,
    Likely this is due to a noisy clock source from imager at PCLK input of the 921. As you are getting solid lock in default state with no input, this means the FPD-link is stable when using internal clock.
    When no input, the 921 serializer defaults to internal clock for setting up link, and once PCLK is present will switch to external input for normal operation.
