SN75DP130: SN75DP130 Pin 3(ADDR) function question

Hi Sir 

May we direct use Pin 3(ADDR) to adjust SN75DP130 EQ? is adjust ADDR pin, also need adjust en pin at the same time?

My customer is use DP mode. may i know how to set up this pin?

Because My customer use DP130 then connect to Mac book. but the monitor single is unstable. may you have some suggestion to advise us?

    Hi Chen,

    Setting ADDR_EQ to L, M or H will have two effects, first it will modify I2C address, and if EQ_I2C_ENABLE=0, it will select EQ too.
    Could you elaborate about customer's application and issue they are observing?

    Hi Sir

    Now the issue is if customer connect to tablet, then single can show in screen. but if connect to mac book.

    the signal will be blinking. i think if i can adjust ADDR_EQ to improve?

    as below is my customer connect, may you have suggestion?

    Hi Chen,

    Yes, it is possible that adjusting EQ will produce a stable image.
    If the register EQ_I2C_ENABLE=0, the ADDR_EQ pin will change EQ populate pull-up or pull-down to use automatic EQ.
    If the register is EQ_I2C_ENABLE=1, the equalization will be selected from I2C registers. EQ will be selected from PE level.

    If you disable link training and EQ_I2C_ENABLE=1, you can select a fixed EQ.
