Part Number: DS90UB949-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB948-Q1,

We use DS90UB949 -Q1 to convert  HDMI to Dual FPD-LINK III, the HDMI signal is from Intel Gordon Ridge Module, and the deserializer is DS90UB948-Q1.

1, The I/O voltage of the HDMI signal is 1.05V, and the DS90UB949-Q1 HDMI input specification in the table below, do we need to add a level shift IC?

2. The HDMI source only support AC -Coupled output, how to setting DS90UB949-Q1 to compatible this,just supply VTERM 1.8V? And the value of the coupled capacitor,100nF?

3. How to deal with CEC if unused?

4. What is the VDD,DDC?

  • Binquan,
    1. the DS90UB949-Q1 HDMI input specification is from HDMI V1.4b section 4.2.5, can you check the pairing device output spec.? It should include Vcm, Vdiff. and impedance parameters etc.;
