AM26C31: What is the major difference btw AM26LS31C and AM26C31I ??

Hi Team,

Customer was using AM26LS31C in beginning, but due to a few user experience of communication failure, so they moved to AM26C31I, problem seems fixed. So customer is wondering what is the major difference between them? Any special things they need to pay attention to during circuit design when using either of them?

    Hi Andrew,

    These two devices should have very similar performance - it is not clear why one device would cause issues while another device would not. Can you please provide more info on what is meant by communication failure? Are they able to observe both the single-ended and differential I/O of the transceiver device to isolate the problem to the IC?
