    Hi Kuo,

    For current limit protection, please refer to Section 8.3.3.4 of the TPS65982 datasheet (specifically Figure 23 and Figure 24).

    The two situations that will cause the over-current protection to trip is during hard-short and soft-short. From Figure 23(hard-short), the expected time for over-current protection to trip is approximately 30us.

    Likewise from Figure 24(soft-short), the expected time for over-current protection to occur is approximately 1.2ms.
