I have a battery powered application in which need to give full duplex RS485.

1. System should be low power as battery powered

2. 3.3V vdd supply

3. Full duplex RS485

4. Length: 2 meters max

5. End application: Electronic Vehicle. So should be immune to noise.

Edit:
6. Only one master & one slave. Communication speed default 9600,8N1 . Max can go to 115200.

Based on these I think SN65HVD70 will be ok. But I am open for suggestions if better solution is available.

Hello Deepak,

I have found a similar part that is slightly lower in power consumption, SN65HVD37. Another option you could do to save some power is to remove the termination. Because you are operating over a small distance and at a low rate, you can remove the termination if you really want to save extra power.
