DS25CP104A: Unused output pin

Guru 19775 points

Hi Team,

Could you please advise us how to treat the unused output channels when using in PIN Control mode ?

I believe LVDS outputs could be leave floating, however, do you recommend to terminate with 100ohm to avoid crosstalk affection ?

Best Regards,

Kawai

  • Hi Kawai,

Unused outputs of the CP104A can be floated.  Do you have any unused inputs?

I recommend configuring the unused outputs to select an unused input as well.  The unused input can be held at a static level to ensure the outputs do not accidentally pick up or re-transmit any noise from the system.

  • Hi Lee-san,

    Thank you for your advise.

I will connect and the set the switches as below. Please let me know if I am understanding incorrectly.

    Best Regards,

    Kawai
