TPS65982: I_PP_HV Channel read

Hi,

We are reading VBUS,PP_HV and I_PP_HV channels data from the TPS65982 controller through i2c interface, The VBUS and PP_HV values are read as expected but I_PP_HV channel read data showing wrong current value.

We referred Host interface technical reference manual and tps65982.pdf document for i2c read sequence and channel number information.

Please let us know what is the procedure to read I_PP_HV channel data ?

Hi Sujan,

You need to use formula (1) in section 13.1 of the FW User's guide: www.ti.com/.../slvuah7b.pdf
The ADCs 4CC command will return a raw value from the ADC, this value needs to be converted to a value in Amps using the formula in the FW user's guide.
