DS92LV2422: about the ESD of DS92LV2422

hi dear supporting team,

my customer is doing ESD testing on both our DS92LV2422 evk and their brd, when they inject 1Kv ESD to the GND of the brd,  both brds will found 2422 unlock, and the GPIO will be pulled down for several ms.  below is the plot when 1Kv is injected, pls help suggest whether there is a solution to such an issue. 

curve #22 IS 2422 GPIO(blue),  curve#21 is 2421 GPIO(purple).

    Please see the email for more details.

    There are coupling of ways to improve the system level ESD performance. The system can upgrade to higher qualify
    connectors and cables. The extra shielded cable can definitely protect from ESD. Making sure there is NO floating ground and metal on the system board. Adding much larger capacitors (10uF or more) on the power supplies will improve the performance as well.
