Hi,

I am testing my design using TPS65982-EVM and LT smart battery charger Dev board.

I have connected the smart battery charger dev. board  to a TPS65982 through a I2C. The battery has its own fuel gazing system which one can read over I2C/SMbus.

My question is how do I read the battery information through TPS65982 and display it on PC?

[PC(display battery info)]  <----type C USB------>  [TSP65982-EVM]  <-----I2C/pwr-------> [Battery Charger] <--I2C/pwr--->(Smart Battery)

Is there a way I can send command to TPS65982 over the Type-C USB to read the battery information over I2C?
