I have been looking at the DS90UA10x and wondered if this use case looks about right? Is it possible to chain them like this?

Sorry, you cannot daisy chain these parts. Jitter will accumulate. These part were only meant for a point to point connection.

How does the DS90UA101 differ? What kind of impact would it have on jitter? Thanks!

"The I2S PLL also cleans jitter of the referenceclock, which reduces I2S_CLK output jitter to +/- 2ns." - that seems like a lot of jitter in these devices.

figure 5 is really a 1:2 splitter, not a repeater so jitter is not accumulating.
