DS90UH948-Q1: Backward compatibility for DS90UH948

Hi,

I'm using DS90UH948 as a receiver for video signal transmitted by different serializer.

It works fine for DS90UH947 and withDS90UH925 (single pixel mode)

I noticed DS90UH925 is backward compatible to DS90UR906.

Can I expect that the DS90UH948 works fine with this device also (or with a DS90UH925 programmed in backward compatibility mode)?

    Hi Gianluca,

    The 906 and 948 are both deserializers. If you meant 947 with 906, or 905 with 948, the answer is that they will not work. The 925 in backward compatible mode will also not work with 948.

    The 94x products are only capable of using FPD-Link III encoding, while the 92x can switch between FPD-Link III and FPD-Link II (referred as backward compatible mode).
