Hi Team,

DP3.0 can support 8-lanes DP1.2 that can output to two 4K monitors.

My question is how can output to two 4K monitors by one Type-C? Or need two Type-C to support two 4K monitors?

Hi Daniel,

Only one type-C cable is necessary to support two 4k monitors through daisy chain connection with multiple monitors, but this is not done with 8 lanes. Each type-C port only has 4 lanes (Rx/Tx pairs).
