TPS2544: Continuous Current in CDP Mode

I am using TPS2544 to communicate with and charge an attached tablet.  The device is operating in CDP Mode.  Is the continuous current the TPS2544 can provide the same as the output short circuit current that is calculated by the formula on page 24? (Ios=50250/RILIM)?
