DS90UB928Q-Q1: Usage of a display with higher resolution (1920x360 instead of 1280x720) but lower Dotclock (51.52MHz instead of 85MHz).

Part Number: DS90UB928Q-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB928Q,

Hello,

for DS90UB928Q a resolution of 1280x720 at a DotClock of max. 85MHz is mentioned in the specifications. At the moment we use a display with 1280x800 and 71MHz DotClock, so the resolution is s little bit higher, but the product of resolution and dotclock (1280x800x71MHz) is lower than 1280x720x85MHz. It works good with our display.

Our customer now wants to use a different display with a resolution of 1920x360, but a lower DotClock of 51.52Mhz (typ). Datasheet is attached.

Is it possible to use this display with the DS90UB928Q? As a Transmitter the DS90UB927Q will be used.

Thank You very much.

Kind regards

Markus Schweizer
