SN65LVPE512: A reason of NRND

My customer is considering SN65LVPE512, but it's NRND now

He'd like to know why.

Could you please break it down for him?

    Hello Shinichi,   

    The SN65LVPE512 has connection issues with few devices, this happens wen the Host disables its SS terminations but the device doesn't (or the device has a delay).The SN65LVPE502A gives priority to the device detection; therefore it will remain its termination ON, as long as there is a device connected. This leads to a disconnection issue during the device reset test in the CV test. We recommend the TUSB522 instead.
