LMH0344: AC-Coupling cap requirements, can I use a lower value?

I'm using both the LMH0344 and the LMH0302 SDI Equalizer and Cable Driver in a 3G-SDI design. I'm having trouble finding an appropriate coupling capacitor, the datasheet recommends a 4.7uF, presumably high to reduce average DC in the signals. I would like to know if a 2.2uF would be sufficient so we can still use an 0402 footprint.

Yes I know there are a couple 4.7uF caps on the market in a 0402 package but due to various other reasons we cannot use them.
