TPS2549-Q1: Question about USB Charge supporting 2.4A(DividerMode3)

Hi,

If I'd like to realize USB Charge supporting following conditions,

1. charge current up to 2.4A (Divider mode 3)

2. Short-to-Battery (up to 18 V) and Short-to-VBUS protection on VD+, VD–

Can these two conbinations of ICs support them?

#1 TPS2549-Q1 + TPD2S703-Q1

#2 TPS254900-Q1 + TPS2513-Q1

If they have any problem , pelase let me know.

#1 TPS2549 supports 2.4A. if TPD2S703 supports 18V protection, this solution is ok.

#2 TPS2513 only support 2.1A not 2.4A. Furthermore, TPS2513 is a Dual USB Port Controller. TPS2514A is a single usb port controller and can support 2.4A.
