DP83867IR: For speed optimization issue

Hi team,

 

Can you review the speed optimization issue of DP83867?

 

When the link down happens, is the speed changed from 1Gbps to 100Mbps automatically by speed optimization? However, some abnormal symptoms were observed in some test which intentionally made the link down by shortening D-port. The speed between PHY and HUB(for test) becomes 100Mbps, but TX/RS CLK of RGMII between PHY and MAC remains 125MHz used for 1Gbps. As the result, the system has the transfer error.

 

Please refer to below register values for both normal case(1Gbps) and abnormal one(speed down).

 

-. Can you investigate what is the problem in the register values?

-. REG 0x11[Bit7] is not changed from 0. Should the value be 1?  

-. Any recommendations?
