LMH0302: Does the wrongly selected Rref permanent damage to the chip?

Hi!

In some schematic i have Rref 75 Ohm instead recommended 750 Ohm. May this situation cause the permanent damage of the device?

Hi Maksim,

Using a 75-ohm RREF resistor may cause damage to the system because the standard SDO amplitude coming from the LMH0302 should not exceed 800 mVpp +/- 10%, meaning 720 mVpp to 880 mVpp. I highly suggest correcting RREF to be 750 Ohms.

Thank you for attention!

Fortunately, after working for a some time with Rref=75 Ohm, now, with correct Rref=750 Ohm, device still alive (with 3G-SDI in output).

And if there can not be hidden problems in LMH0302, after working in this conditions, everything is fine.
