Hi Takumi,

When this signal is high the serializer ignores the incoming parallel data on the TxIN[0:4] pins. I believe a case where this signal is used is with the built-in test pattern generator during link detection (see Remote Sense on page 12 of datasheet). I hope that helps your understanding.

Hi Suzaki-san,

When you are looking for the link status, Lock indication output means the serializer and deserializer establish a link.
