TUSB4041I-Q1: TUSB4041I-Q1 startup draw high current

Part Number: TUSB4041I-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB4041I

Hi Team,

My customer encounter high startup current when using TUSB4041I-Q1. They program the SMBUSz pull up to 3.3V with 4.7K resistor so it is selected to be I2C mode.

In TUSB4041I datasheet, there is an update of SMBUS programming current stating current of 225mA with Vdd of 1.1V, whereas it is not updated in the TUSB4041I-Q1. Will the Q1 behave the same as non-Q1 and also need to update this SMBUS programming current?

When we mentioned the SMBUS programming current, is that include during startup, the device reading the SMBUSz status?

Do we know the exact cause of this high current during startup?
