Hi,

My customer is considering to use SN75DP139RGZ..

Can the thermal pad be connected to GND?

Connection of thermal pad of RGZ package is not mentioned on the datasheet.

(However RSB backage of thermal pad is mentioned as follows.

Yes, please connect the thermal pad to GND on RGZ package too.

Must thermal pad be connected to the GND?

Hi TQ,

The DP139RGZ thermal pad is not electrically connected, please connect it to GND for proper thermal dissipation.
