Hi Team,

DP83867IR is specified with operation free air ambient temperature from -40 to 85 degrees. May I know how this spec is determined & verified?

1. If there a endurance test running under maximum ambient temperature 85 degrees? How long it takes?

2. Is there a risk of performance degradation under 85 degrees?

Hi Zhou,

It is performed by doing device characterization testing at ambient temperatures of 85 C. This includes packet transmission endurance testing for >24 hours.

No performance degradation is expected during normal use at 85 C or any temp between -40 C and 85 C.

How does >24 hours test help to get insight for long term stability in high temperature, like one month continuously test with transmission @85? If there a lifetime estimation?

I described our characterization test for 85 C.
