TPS2546: CTL1 change during operation

Hi team,

I am using TPS2546 in customer's system.

we found 5V VBUS will drop when

CTL2=CTL3=ILIM_SEL=1

1. CTL1 change from 0 to 1 (DCP_Auto to CDP)

2. CTL1 change from 1 to 0 (CDP to DCP_Auto)

Hi,

it is correct behavior. according to BC1.2 specification, VBUS must drop when changing between CDP mode, DCP mode and SDP mode.

Hi Marco,

I am wondering why you want to skip this behavior ? this is required by BC1.2 specification.
