TMDS361B: Time from a clock detection to reflecting on registers

Part Number: TMDS361B

Hi Team,

My customer would like to know how much it takes from clock detection to reflecting it on registers. Do you have any data about the 2 cases below?

1. Time from the timing when the TMDS clock is applied at input pin until the detection is reflected in the register.
2. Time from the timing when the TMDS clock stops until the information is reflected in the register

If you don't have the specific date, any expectations might be appreciated.

Regards,

Takashi Onawa

  • Hi Takashi,

You can find these timing parameters in the datasheet.
The table in switching characteristics (continues) section on page 16 has the typical and maximum values for TCLK1 and TCLK2, review the figure 13 to understand such parameters. The register should be updated roughly in the same time.

The I2C bus works at 100kbps, doing the register read operation will give the register enough time to update.

    Regards
