DS110DF111: QSGMII retimer

Hello,

Can i use the DS110DF111 for QSGMII signals?

I see a lot of options for the clock divider etc. but not sure if it is good for QSGMII.

If it is not suitable, can you recommend any other part?

Hi Tibor,

The DS110DF111 is suitable. I would try the DS64BR111 first, it is a similar pinout in the same package. The linear equalization and de-emphasis repeater is usually good enough for a 5 Gbps signal. The retimer can provide enhanced jitter control, but is not a requirement for most QSGMII applications.
