TPS65983B: TPS65983B USB2.0 function

Can we short TPS65983B  D+ D- data pins for one USB 2.0 output at USB-C connector motherport output.

1,  Slow USB 2.0 function   short K7 K6, for D+, short L7,L6 for D- ; ground L5, K5.

2,  NC K6,K7, L6,L7,  keep L5 for D+, K5 for D-

C_USB_TP K6 Analog I/O Hi-Z Port side Top USB D+ connection to Port Multiplexer.
C_USB_TN L6 Analog I/O Hi-Z Port side Top USB D– connection to Port Multiplexer.
C_USB_BP K7 Analog I/O Hi-Z Port side Bottom USB D+ connection to Port Multiplexer.
C_USB_BN L7 Analog I/O Hi-Z Port side Bottom USB D– connection to Port Multiplexer.

USB_RP_P L5 Analog I/O Hi-Z System side USB2.0 high-speed connection to Port Multiplexer. Ground pin with
between 1-kΩ and 5-MΩ resistance when unused.
USB_RP_N K5 Analog I/O Hi-Z System side USB2.0 high-speed connection to Port Multiplexer. Ground pin with
between 1-kΩ and 5-MΩ resistance when unused.

    The recommended approach is to connect the D+/D- lines directly from the connector to the TPS65983B. Please refer to our EVM schematic for the TPS65982 as a reference.
    Is there a reason why you cannot directly connect the D+/D- to the TPS65983B?
