DP83848Q-Q1: Operation when vdd drops to 2.5 V

Part Number: DP83848Q-Q1

Hi,

I have a question the operation when 3.3V power supply drops to 2.5V.

For example, internal reset is applied, power down, registers are held but not output etc.

I would like to know each situations when only IOVDD dropped, when only AVDD dropped.

In order to think about the configuration of the power supply, I need to know the above conditions.

Please let me know the threshold voltage at which the register is held and the threshold voltage at which it shuts down.

Best regards,

Tomoaki Yoshida

  • Hi Tomoaki-san,

The DP83848 should not be operated outside its ROC. By dropping the device to 2.5V, you are no longer within the ROC and device operation cannot be guaranteed.

    Kind regards,
    Ross
  • Hi Ross-san,

    Thank you for your reply.
I understood that this situation is not guaranteed.
Of course I will use it within the recommended operating voltage range.
However, it is necessary to consider countermeasures by knowing what happens when the power supply drops.
If power supply drops, we will initialize again.

    Best regards,
    Tomoaki Yoshida
