USB-2-MDIO: Cannot find USB-2-MDIO guide for the MSP-EXP430FR2311 LaunchPad

I have been trying to follow the USB-2-MDIO User's Guide ( http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snlu197/snlu197.pdf ), but the guide covers only the MSP430G2 and MSP430F5 series. Is there a guide for the MSP-EXP430FR2311 ?

Or does the MSP-EXP430FR2311 not support USB-2-MDIO ?

It turns out the USB-2-MDIO will only work on the MSP430G2 and MSP430F5 Series.
