TPS65986: TPS65986 App customization tool, templates

Hi,

One of my customers has created a project file for the TPS65986, but I noticed that the template (underneath the project name) says TPS65982 HD3SS460 UFP, version 2.15. 

Will using a template for the wrong device cause any issues?

    Josh,

    Configuration templates for each device is created to provide a starting point for customer projects. For correct TPS65986 device configuration you will have to make sure that you are stating for a template that is created for TPS65986.
