Survey RVIA CAN C Device

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN1042-Q1

Hi Team,

May I know TI have RVIA CAN C protocol device?

  • Hi Wen Yung,

Do you need a transceiver device in order to translate logic-level signals (e.g., from an MCU) to differential RV-C signals? If so, I recommend you take a look at TCAN1042-Q1. It is designed for the ISO 11898-2 Controller Area Network physical layer, which is used by RV-C.

If you need a device that implements the higher-layer protocol of RV-C, you are probably better off posting in one of the forums that is monitored by our MCU team. There probably isn't a dedicated device for this protocol, but they may be able to help guide you in how to implement it using one of our standard microcontrollers.
