My customer has an issue related to the behavior when their laptop enter S3 sleep mode and the relation to mouse wake up failure symptom.
The original issue is, they found most of the time they can’t wake up the laptop from S3 mode with a wireless mouse. (It’s difficult to wake up the laptop from wireless mouse normally. It happens rarely.) But, it would always work well with a wired mouse.
They tried to capture waveform including OUT/EN/CTL1/CTL2/CTL3 for these cases under two scenario.

When system enter S3 sleep mode.

When system try to wake up from a mouse
When the issue is not duplicated from a wireless mouse, the waveforms looks the same as wired mouse case.
When the issue is duplicated, we found something as below.

When system enter S3 mode, TPS2546/OUT will drop twice.

From above with OUT drop twice entering S3 mode, when user tried to use wireless mouse to wake up the system, they can’t see anything on DP/DM signals at USB connector.
Please check below for the waveform plots of normal and failed case when laptop enter S3 mode. (CTL2 is always high and not included in the waveform plot.) Please let us know your comments.
