Part Number: TCAN1042HG

Hello,

Can anyone advise me if  TCAN1042HG has similar characteristics as TJA1043TK (NXP) ,if not maybe other TI CAN recommanded.

    Hi Hen,

    The devices are similar in that they are both CAN transceivers (convert logic-level IO from a CAN controller to differential CAN bus signals), but the TJA1043 has a few extra features that allow for lower system-level current consumption (i.e., the ability for the device to run directly off a battery in sleep mode and then wake up an external DC/DC regulator via a high-voltage control output when CAN data is detected on the bus).
