TPS2513: It is not fast charging

Part Number: TPS2513

I am using the following configuration.

I tested Samsung Galaxy S6. It was charging it. The current was about 1A, but it was not going higher. Also, the phone did not recognize it as a fast charger. I tried the iPhone too. Same story. How should I fix this issue.

Hello,

There are some factors that can impact the charging current:

1. did you use a long cable ?

2. is your power supply voltage 5V ? please slightly improve the voltage like 5.25V

3. if your phone fully charged or almost fully charged ?

We tested both IPhone and Android, here is test the condition for Galaxcy S6. It was %65 charged. the bus voltage was 5.5v. We got same results. and no sign of fast charger. We even changed the part from TPS2513 to TPS1513A. Same results. The charge current is not exceeding 1.2A. Is there anything else, that we need to try?

Hello Team,

Also the D- and D+ lines are both measuring 0.91V for the Galaxy S6. Should this not be about 1.2V?
