TPS65983B: MICR EVENT

Hi,

In TPS65983 application it was possible to configure a GPIO to the MICR Event.

In TPS65983b application I don't see this Event.

Is there some other way to configure this?

Hi Aviva,

Please use the latest configuration tool for the TPS65983, that GPIO event is available there.

Eric hi,

The issue is that other GPIO events that I am using aren't in TPS65983 tool, specifically the DP or USB active low event.

Is there a way to have all the GPIO events in either of the tools?

In any case, I tried using the TPS65983 tool to configure GPIO2 with the MICR event, and the GPIO isn't toggeling at all.

Could you please advise?

Hi Aviva,

I'm sorry we do not have a template that integrates all of those GPIO events. Is this still an open issue? If so, I will see what GPIO event on the 83B could be substituted for the MICR event.

Hi Aviva,

A substitute for the MICR Event in the 83B tool would be: "HV or EXT Sink Event (Active high after Softstart)"
