Hi,
In 2.5V-mode, is it ok to connect dcdc converter output directly to VDD pins? Or using LDO or 3.3V-mode is recommended?
Best regards,

Hi,
Either method can work quite well. The current demand of the DS80PCI402 is quite stable - there is no dynamic current component. This makes any external DC/DC conversion easy to implement.
For single or double device implementations most applications rely on the internal regulator to establish the 2.5V supply. When larger groups of DS80PCI402 devices are used a switching supply offers enhanced efficiency.
