TLK10031: TLK10031/TLK10032 POWER CONSUMPTION

Looking at the datasheet of the TLK10031 and TLK10232, it seems that they both have the same power consumption.

But the TLK10031 is single port and the 232 is dual port, so it doesn’t make sense that they both consume the same power.

 

Can you please check what are the real numbers for those parts?

    Hi Eli,

    The TLK10031 is the single channel version of the TLK10232 (Dual Channel), this is the reason some values are the same. The nominal power consumption is 800mW per channel, hence, for the TLK10031 this is the overall power consumption (nominal). According to the design team the Max power dissipation of the TLK10031 is 2.3W/2, hence the value is ~1.15W. We need to fix this data in the datasheet of the TLK10031.
