Dear, All

Customers are using DP83867, but planning compliance testing.
They read SNLA239A but have the following questions.
In the item '1000 Base Test Mode 2 with TX_TCLK', the following registers are described.
- Reg 0x00C6 = 0x0010 // proprietary
But, this register is not listed in the data sheet.
So I have the following questions.
A. What is the function of this register?
B. If this register is read, is the written data readable?

Hello Masami,

Since this register is related proprietary functions of the PHY, we will not be able to share the function of the register. The value mentioned in the app note should be used as-is for entering the test mode. After compliance testing is completed, the register should be configured to its original value.
The register is Read/Write so customer can read the value after writing to it.
