DS280DF810: Setting for 28.050Gbps data rate

Hi,

We are considering DS280DF810 for QSFP28. The data rate is 28.050Gpbs. However, we can't find the register settings for common/standard data rates. Would you please provide the 28.050Gbps settings?

    Hello Toshiuki-san,

    The way to determine the correct register settings for 28.05 Gbps is to use the formulas in Section 6.7 of the Programmer's Guide (SNLU182). These formulas will show you how to compute the values for Reg_0x60, Reg_0x61, Reg_0x62, and Reg_0x63. Then, by following the procedure in Table 25, you can program these values in the device to set the data rate.

    For 28.05 Gbps, the resulting register values are:
    Reg_0x60 = 0x33
    Reg_0x61 = 0xC6
    Reg_0x62 = 0x33
    Reg_0x63 = 0xC6
