Hello Bang,
For FPD LVDS to RGB data, use an FPD LVDS receiver like the DS90CF386. Other FPD LVDS Receivers here http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/interface/flatlink-fpd-link-lvds-for-lcd-products.page might work too depending upon the bit resolution and data rate needed. Follow the DS90CF386 with DS90UR905Q-Q1 => DS90UR910-Q1 (see the DS90UR910-Q1 data sheet, pg. 1).
Total possible solution: DS90CF386 => DS90UR905Q-Q1 => DS90UR910-Q1
Regards
Hi Joel,
Thank you so much for your help!. I will follow your solution.
Best regards,
Bang
Hello Jeffery Pfarr,
My solution convert LVDS to CSI-2 is: LVDS => DS90UH947-Q1 => DS90UH940-Q1 => CSI-2.
I use single LVDS ( 4 data lane + 1 clock) to DS90UH947-Q1, so DS90UH947 can support 1920x1080p with 60 frame per second?. And How many bit DS90UH947 can transfer maximum?. Can up to 2Gbps?.
I 'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Bang
Hi Bang,
It looks like the 940 deserializer does have selectable 2 or 4 lane CSI-2 output with one clock lane and up to 2 FPD-Link III inputs. The 947 serializer accepts LVDS input (18 or 24 bit RGB) and has up to 2 FPD-Link III outputs. Both devices support HDCP if you need that (depending upon device version), WUXGA (1920 x 1200 resolution), Max pixel clock rate of 170 MHz and Max Throughput Rate of 5.95 Gbps. I've asked the engineering team that supports these devices to comment on support for 1920x1080p at 60 Hz Frame rate and any other application details they wish to highlight. From my point of view it looks like your solution may work!
Hi Jeffery,
Thank you so much. Can you help me setting DS90UH947-Q1 use only 4 lane data LVDS + 1 lane clock?.
And if i use 4 lane LVDS + 1 clock input, output 1 or 2 lane FPD Link III?.
Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Bang
Why can't you just use:
DS90UR907Q-Q1 => DS90UR910Q-Q1
The DS90UR907 web link is:
Hi Jeong,
I understand your 's resolution. But I need convert LVDS to 4 lane data + 1 lane clock CSI-2 so I can't use DS90UR907Q-Q1 => DS90UR910-Q1.
So you can help me about DS90UH947 and DS90UH940?.
Best regards,
Bang
Hi Bang,
The DS90UH947 auto detects the DS90UH940, I would need a more specific question than "So you can help me about DS90UH947 and DS90UH940?"
By the way are you an HDCP adopter?
If not you can use the DS90UB947 and the DS90UB940.
Regards,
Hi Jeong,
Thank you for your 's help.
My question are:
1. I use 2 lane data LVDS + 1 lane clock input DS90UH947-Q1, output 1 or 2 lane FPD Link III?. Can DS90UH947-Q1 in this case can support 1920x1080p 60 frame per seconds?.
2. I know DS90UH947 auto detect DS90UH940, so if i only use 1 lane PFD Link III input DS90UH940, DS90UH940 output 1 or 2 lane CSI-2?. How many max bit rate DS90UH940 can transfer?.
For more details, I use camera Hitachi DI -SC233. Signal output is LVDS. I only use 2 lane LVDS data + 1 lane clock.
Looking forward you respone soon.
Best regards,
Bang
