DS64MB201: What should I do with unconnected inputs?

Part Number: DS64MB201

I am using the DS64MB201. However, I am only using half the lanes, the other is unconnected. Can I leave it floating or does it need to be terminated?

    Hey Jim,

    The Inputs will be internally terminated with 100 ohms so you should be fine leaving them floating. I'd recommend that If you want to be certain that no glitching will occur you can terminate it with a 100 ohm differential impedance using series resistances to GND. This will essentially just act like a low input and the output will always drive low.
