Recommendation for PoE PD Management IC/EVM

Hey Team,

I have been looking through the parts portfolio and have seen a couple parts available that will function for PoE but am wondering what your suggestions would be for a part such as this? It only needs to handle around 15W but more is certainly alright since I will have some additional functionality to add later and then I don't have to go looking for another part. I apologize in advance for the vagueness of the question.

Hi Nicholas,

From the ti.com Product page, select Power Management > POE > PD, and you can compare features and refine the parameters: http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/power-management/powered-device-products.page# .

For example, you didn't say anything about VIN, and by inputting the limits, this will reduce the devices to be considered.

And perhaps to make matters easier, here is a 25W Ref Design that may work for you: http://www.ti.com/tool/POE-PD-POWER-REF .
