SN65HVDA1040A-Q1: the behavior at the change from standby mode to normal mode

Part Number: SN65HVDA1040A-Q1

I would like to confirm the behavior of the standby and normal mode.

The customer checked the operation of standby mode.

When the operation changed from standby mode to normal mode, RXD output "Low" ,

I attached the picture.

Is this operation correct ?

If this operation has the problem, what is the cause of this operation?

Best regards,

Atsushi Yamauchi

  • Hello Yamauchi-san,

That isn't the behavior I'd expect during standby mode. Could you please show us the schematic for this design so that we can better understand how the device is connected? Also, it looks like there is some noise coincident with this low pulse (it shows up on several signal lines displayed on the oscilloscope). Is there noise on the power supply (VCC) or ground as well? If so, it is possible that the device is going into undervoltage lock-out for a short period; it would be good to check VCC on the oscilloscope as well to confirm.
