Dear all:

We have a problem about DS90UB914 ACK issue:

1. Application: Sensor - DS90UB913 - DS90UB914 - CPU

2. When CPU write reset from 914/913 to sensor , Sensor ACK transmit to 913, but 914 no ACK transmit to CPU.

3. This issue only occurs in Sensor reset command. when sensor reset, CLK wiill pulled low 500ms.

4. We set 914 register(0X03) to enable AUTO ACK , but also not produce ACK, Why is the function invalid?

Hi,
Please help elaborate the "RESET" command, and what is the "CLK" here, and why it is pulled to LOW for 500ms?
If this "CLK" is UB913a's PCLK, maybe the link is damaged due to this "lost" PCLK, and the ACK is stopped to UB914a.

HOST IC white reset to sensor from 914/913, and sensor ACK transfer to 913, 914 not ACK output to HOST. When sensor reset, will pull I2C SCL to low for 500ms.

If we can set 914 register(0X03) to enable AUTO ACK? How to solve 914 no ACK issue? The issue will cause HOST IC halted . thanks!

hi, sorry I can't understand your issues, please help provide sch. and I2C plots in UB913 and UBA914 sides which indicates NO ACK.
For UB913/914A, we have NOT met no ACK issues in our mass customers. I'm curious of the issue: since the I2C SCL is pulled down to GND for 500ms, you still can see the ACK from the sensor to UB913a?
