Are these possible to use 0.47uF?

It's OK to use 0.47uF cap for external cap, as long as the ratio keeps the same among the cap values. What max value do you mean, like 1uF, 10uF, 100uF? Please keep in mind that it takes longer time to charge or discharge a cap with a larger value.

I've never seen 10uF in the application, but I don't see any reason why it would not work.
