Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know about Alt Mode Negotiations by TCPCI.

--------------

[Q1]

I understand that negotiation flow of Alt mode are as follows.

Is my understanding correct?

<Negotiation flow>

1.TUSB422 determine whether it is Alt mode by CC pin.

2.If it is Alt mode, MUX_CTRL resister is changed is changed from "00b" to "10b".

3.This resister value is sent from TUSB422 to MCU by TCPCI.

4.TUSB1046-DCI(MUX) is changed to DP signal line by MCU.

--------------

[Q2]

According to our customer, the application(system) must complete a change of MUX within 200us after determining "ALT mode".

It is determined by USB PD specification.

Is this correct?

If yes, could you please let us know whether TUSB422 solution(TCPCI) can support these specifications?
