TUSB1310A: Compliance pattern sequence problem

Hi team,

This problem is that TUSB1310A does not output CP1 even if ping LFPS is received
while it outputs CP0 in compliance mode.

My customer wants to know any setting required for Compliance pattern sequence.

Please let me know.

By the way, as to RX_ELECIDLE there are below 2 descriptions in the datasheet.
I think that the "RX_ELECIDLE" of 5.3.4.1 USB Power Management is a typo and
"TX_ELECIDLE" is correct. Is this correct? Please let me know.

・Table 3-3: RX_ELECIDLE :
Active High. While deasserted with the PHY in P0, P1, P2, or P3, indicates detection of LFPS.

・5.3.4.1 USB Power Management:
　"When RX_ELECIDLE is deasserted in P0, P1, P2, or P3, the TUSB1310A device receiver monitors for
　 LFPS except during reset or when RX_TERMINATION is removed for electrical idle."

Hello,

The description of RX_ELECIDLE is correct, in both cases the datasheet says that RX_ELECIDLE will detect LFPS when it is de-asserted and in some power saving state.

The TUSB1310A will automatically transmit the CP patterns as specified in the USB3.0 Spec, please double check the LFPS's tBurst and tRepeat, can you send some scope captures of the above times?

The TUSB1310A does support CP0 and all the rest of CP patterns.

My understanding is below.
Is this correct? Please let me know.

・When TUSB1310A is in P0 state(POWER_DOWN[1:2]=00):

When TUSB1310A receives LFPS, it outputs CP0 pattern.
But, it does not output the CP1 pattern even if it receives the LFPS next.

・When TUSB1310A is in P1,P2orP3 state(POWER_DOWN[1:2]=01,10,11):

When TUSB1310A receives LFPS, it outputs the CP0 patern.
Ｉt outputs the CP1 pattern when it receives the LFPS next.　
Ｉt outputs the CP2 pattern when it receives the LFPS next, so on.

That is correct.

The value of POWER_DOWN[] has a different meaning depending on the power state.
