TPS65982-EVM: Choosing power path

Part Number: TPS65982-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65982

Hi TI,

I'm using TPS65982 in an application that requires 20V at 2A from type-C.  This is a power sink that is completely powered from Type-C.  If I install J6, I get 5V0 and 3V0, if I remove the PP_EXT jumper, I get no power to the board. If I install the jumper, the PP_HV power path does not close.

We’re currently running into an issue where the PP_EXT path is chosen even though we choose PP_HV as the power path (input) and disable PP_EXT.  I’m trying to figure out why this is happening with little success.

I’ve verified that R10 and R11 are populated, the connection is valid.  When I open J6, I do not get 3.3V, 5V, or PP_HV at 20V.

Thanks in advance!
