TFP401A: TFP401A - Datasheets/ref-schematic inconsistency/errors

Hi,

with reference to the TFP401A and the ref schematic from TI ( http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slla134/slla134.pdf

- pin 67 in datasheet pinout is DVdd but in same datasheet ref sch (fig 21 page 19) shows it as CAP and NOT connected to 3V3. Which is correct?

- pin 99 in datasheet pinout is RSVD but same datasheet ref sch (fig 21 page 19) shows it as PVDD2 and connected directly to 3V3. Which is correct?

- page 21 of datasheet says to use 0.01 (10nF) for each pin on Avdd, Dvdd etc but schematic shows 100nF. Stability is clearly important and there is very limited board space so we cannot put both. Which is recommended?

Hello Rick,

The ref schematic that you linked is for the TFP501/403. These are not the same as the TFP401A. The datasheet and ref schematic are both correct.

that ref schematic I linked to is the only one we could find and was referenced to from another TI document. Can you please provide a link to the official TFP401A reference schematic?

Hello,
That schematic works for the TFP401 as well, the only difference is the pinout but the signals are the same.
